Get to know me
I’m Catt! or Catherine, if you are my mother. I am an extrovert, passionate about what I do, and I believe I was put on this earth to create. I was always an artist but I didn’t discover my knack for photography until I was 19. I was working at a camp in upstate New York and my friends kept getting us into some adventurous situations that needed documenting and I just happened to have a fancy new camera in my bag. I spent the summer mastering it and I never looked back. I went from specializing in weddings to newborns and then finally settled on food about eight years ago. Cooking is something I always enjoyed but when I got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that made it necessary that I give up certain foods, I started putting a lot more time into the kitchen. My camera followed me there and I began to develop an obsession with photographing food. While you might catch me still photographing portraits for my long-time clients, food & beverage photography is definitely my bread and butter (ha).
